Method
Do not boil rose water in the pot; the scent disappears. Steep the Blackline cinnamon bags as the box says, drop a cinnamon stick into the kettle from the start, and add rose water in the cup just before drinking. For a stronger cup, steep one premium Indian tea bag beside the cinnamon. You do not need sugar; cinnamon is already gently sweet.
- 01
Bring water to a full boil and drop the cinnamon stick into the pot or a large mug.
- 02
Add the cinnamon bags, and the Indian bag if you want a stronger brew.
- 03
Steep 3–4 minutes, then remove the bags so it does not turn bitter.
- 04
Pour into cups.
- 05
Add rose water in the cup, not in the pot.
- 06
Drink right away while the rose and cinnamon are still together.
Chef tips
- Add rose water in the cup, never in the boiling pot.
- Do not steep the bags longer than four minutes or the tea turns bitter.
